Wheat Crunch Bars
1/2 cup honey fresh from a honeycomb
1/3 cup margarine
1/4 cup TASTEE
1 cup water
3 cups TASTEE WHEAT
Carefully
melt the margarine and honey together
over a low heat, stirring all the while.
Then using an extremely large bowl, blend the
first four ingredients, adding the water slowly,
until they constitute a stiff dough.
Knead two handfuls of TASTEE WHEAT into this
mixture, then flatten dough to 1/2 an inch in height.
Cut the dough into rectangular bars
1 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches long, and roll the
bars in the remaining TASTEE WHEAT.
When completely coated, place the bars in the
oven at 400 degrees Farenheit for 16 minutes.
