Frances Flannery-Dailey
received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, and is Assistant
Professor of Religion at Hendrix College in Conway, Arizona. She teaches courses
in Bible, Religion and Culture and Judaism. Her main area of research is apocalypticism
in early Judaism (300 B.C.E.-200 C.E.), and she is currently writing a book
for Brill Publishers entitled Dreamers, Mystics and Heavenly Priests: Dreams
in Second Temple Judaism.
Rachel Wagner was educated at Wake Forest
University and the University of Iowa. She is currently a Visiting Assistant
Professor of Religion at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. At Southwestern,
she teaches comparative courses in Islam, the Problem of Evil, Religion and
Film, and Religion and Literature, incorporating materials from many different
religious traditions. Her primary training is in Western Religions and biblical
studies, and her dissertation is based on William Blake's epic poem Jerusalem.
