BIO Poppy Z. Brite is the author of seven novels, three short story collections, and much miscellanea. Early in her career she was known for her horror work, producing genre classics/notorieties such as LOST SOULS, DRAWING BLOOD, and EXQUISITE CORPSE. More recently she has turned her attention to a critically acclaimed series of novels and short stories set in the New Orleans restaurant world.
