Peter is best known as writer and director of the animated series Aeon Flux (1991) which he originally created for MTV's variety show Liquid Television.

He has directed numerous commercials and performed various roles on TV series such as Transformers (1984) and Rugrats (1991), and on the international production Alexander (1998).
